Mylan 1010 Piroxicam Capsule

Together with 2020 capsules (20mg), Piroxicam (generic Feldene) is manufactured by Mylan in a smaller strength of 10mg. These are Mylan 1010 capsules that can be found in several variations of color. As far as we have been able to determine, the capsule which can be described as olive-green is manufactured and distributed by Mylan Phys Total Care DHS, Inc and the capsule with differently colored halves (yellow and green) is a product of Mylan Pharmaceuticals, Inc itself. But both of them can be listed as Mylan pills, and both contain 10 mg of Piroxicam (Feldene) which is an analgetic and antipyretic that belongs to the class of NSAIDs (nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs).

Mylan 2020 Capsules - Piroxicam 20mg (Feldene)

When it comes to treating osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis, one of the most popular analgesic and antipyretic drugs is Feldene. It is also known as Brexidol, Brexin, Erazon, Exipan, Felden, Feldoral, Hotemin, Pirox, Proponol, Reumador, Tracam, Veral, Mobilis and Vurdon. All these brand names conceal the name of generic - Piroxicam. And you already know what Mylan Pharmaceuticals Inc. is renowned for. Generics, of course. You will find Mylan's Piroxicam inside Mylan 2020 capsules, in the dosage of 20mg - the usual therapy daily dosage, by the way.

Mylan 1560 - Phenytoin capsules

One half of them is always white-colored. The other half is normally described as lavender, though some people tend to call it light purple or bluish gray. On both halves "Mylan 1560" can be seen printed in black ink. So, what do we have after all? It is extended-release Phenytoin (generic Dilantin), an anti-convulsant used to control seizures. The dose of Phenytoin Sodium in each capsule is 100 mg. The medication may have some specific adverse effects, among which we find a serious skin reaction with higher risk of development in Asian patients. It is strongly recommended to take a specific blood test before starting treatment.
