Mylan 199 - One More Clonidine Pill Made by Mylan

The 3rd one in the row of Mylan's Clonidine hydrochloride pills is Mylan 199 - a 0.3 mg white-colored pill, used to treat hypertension, etc (the same as with Mylan 152, just the strength is three times as much). Clonidine is also available under prescription as brand-named Catapres and Duraclon, which are not Mylan's products. To add a few words to Mylan 199 pill's description, we may say that "MYLAN" and "199" on the front side of the pill are divided by a score, while the reverse side is blank.

M T7 Pill vs M P/T Pill

Both M T7 and M P/T pills contain tramadol hydrochloride. The difference between them is that the pill indexed M T7 contains 50 mg of pure tramadol with no active ingredient added, and M P/T pill is a compound medicine which consists of 37.5 mg tramadol HCl combined with 325 mg acetaminophen (paracetamol, APAP). As a result, M T7 pill is a generic for brand name Ultram, and M P/T pill is a generic for the medication distributed as Ultracet in the USA or Tramacet in Canada.

But an essential detail is the fact that in M P/T pills we find less tramadol as compared to M T7 pills, although the pain relieving effects of the medicine remain almost the same, as they are maintained by the little amount of acetaminophen added to it. That may be really crucial because tramadol is known to be highly addictive drug, and the less of it one takes, the better...

M T7 or Pliva 616. Any difference?

A very common situation is when the same medicine is produced by different manufacturers. And an even more common situation is, when getting some differently indexed pills, people wonder if they are the same drug, as they may look poles apart.

A simple example. We have already examined one of Mylan's products, a pill indexed "M" and "T7". It is little, white and round. No wonder that when someone comes across an oblong pill with "Pliva 616" code (the pill is obviously larger in size!), he or she may think that the pills' active ingredients differ to the same extent as their appearances. But... No! Both M T7 and Pliva 616 are the same, invariable 50 mg Tramadol hydrochloride, though made in different parts of the world. And the effects of these pills are the same as well, too!

You are very welcome to find more of such analogues, and leave your comment on this blog, comparing Mylan's products to similar products made by other manufacturers ;)

M T7 Pill - Mylan's Tramadol HCl

One more Mylan pill indexed with "M" letter, not with the whole word "MYLAN". Now it is M T7 pill - Mylan's generic version for Ultram (Tramadol HCl). It is a little round white pill with "M" debossed on one side and "T7" on the other. The medicine belongs to the opioid class, and is similar in its effects to codeine. It is a mild narcotic pain killer used for treatment of moderate to strong pain. Each Mylan's M T7 pill contains 50 mg of instant release Tramadol HCl. It should mentioned that Tramadol has a high potential for abuse and must not be taken without prescription.

Propranolol is mainly used to treat hypertension and heart rythm disorders. Mylan A3 Pill - Alprazolam (generic Xanax)

Mylan Pharmaceuticals manufactures a range of Alprazolam (generic Xanax) pills. All of them can be identified by the letter "A" debossed on one of the sides. The "A" letter is found alone on the least strength of Mylan's Alprazolam (0.25mg pill), while on the pills of greater strength "A" is combined with a number (1, 3 or 4). The pill indexed with "Mylan A3" is 0.5mg Alprazolam. It is, perhaps, the most popular one in the line. The shape of the pill is round, the color can be described as peach. Mylan A3 is an immediate release formulation which is distinguished from extended release versions. In addition to "A", the latter have a letter "M" on the other side (the numbers are different, too).

One more pill without "MYLAN" letters on it, indexed only with "M 545". Still, it is one more generic produced by Mylan Pharmaceuticals - Mirtazapine (generic for Remeron), an antidepressant. Sulindac is the generic name for Clinoril, a NSAID used to manage pain and inflammation caused by different forms of arthritis and acute painful shoulder.
